    Return to work

Hello I had my surgery on 8/16 so far so going a little slower than I expected. Went back to work this week we are going two days a week at the moment. Struggling with trying to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours and taking enough food to make it happen. When warming up fish at work it just smells so loud. Looking for suggestions on what to take for lunch. I don't eat meat just fish/ seafood. Thanks for listening. Sent from my SM-N981U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Zero pounds…

I cook my fish in the Air fryer as well. Canadian white bass and Orange Roughy seasoned with lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder it is really good. Fish is the protein I eat. Plant based is the food style I follow it is challenging though. I tend to do better if I have something to follow already planned out. Like the plan I brought home after the surgery.

    Plateau??? Help....

I am 7 weeks out from surgery and have been stuck at 225. After reading all the above I just have to be patient. And will definitely get more exercise in.I started at 238 so at my heaviest when I got my lapband back in 2010 I was 268 so I suppose 225 is better than 238. Still is a bit frustrating though. Fluctuations

I only weigh once a week. The day I had my surgery was 8/16. So for me it's every Monday. It had not occurred to me to weigh every day [emoji848] Sent from my SM-N981U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Fatigue

Hello, I am week 4 from my surgery and am really tired a lot. I work from home 10 hours most days. This makes it really difficult to get to the gym. My Dr said it will get better. Anyone else have these issues. Thanks Sent from my SM-N981U using BariatricPal mobile app

2 weeks post op and I can eat big amount of food

I am no expert but it would be difficult for me to go through this type of surgery to eating 4 boiled eggs and ice-cream at the point you are at currently. Maybe you should check with your doctor about what is going on.

    Social gathering

Hi all as most folks I have been working from home since March 2020. I had my gastric sleeve 8/16/2021. My team at work who I absolutely love we are like a family are getting together before going back into the offiice. We will be going in on a rotating basis. My question is when did you feel comfortable going to a social gathering? I don't think I am nowhere near ready for that. Also do you all tell people you have had the surgery? Thanks for listening

It took me a good while to figure out how to do this. It's not intuitive. In fact, it took me 10 minutes to remember how I did it just 2 days ago.

Click your name in the upper right part of the screen.

In the drop down box, choose "My surgery."

Then under "Surgery Information toward the left side of the screen, choose "Progress."

On the bottom of this screen, there's a selection called "Keep my weight private." Turn it off. (The default seems to be "On."

I think that should do it.
