I've always been overweight. I finally reached a time in my life where i was tired of being this way, and it was too late for me to do it on my own. I needed something to help push me... and the Lap Band did just that. It wasn't a miracle fix, it was a tool to help me get where i am today. I was 470 in Sept. 2008, i went to the doctor and lost 60 lbs before my surgery in Dec. 2008. It is now Aug. 2009, and i am down to 320 lbs. And still going strong!
