I live in Florida and was banded by Dr. K last month. There is a Dr. (and a good one too) right here in my town but it would have cost me $7,000 more to go with him. That's a lot of fills considering Dr. K's fills are free for three months and then a mere $15.00. My travel costs are under $350. for airfare, hotel, rental car and Super Shuttle to the airport. That is a bit to pay (for me) but I don't think I will ever get to that extra $7,000 that I would have had to pay locally, oh, and then the fill fee of $150.

If anyway finds themselves with clothing int he 16-18 size range, I am desperate for clothing. I would be more than happy to buy them from you or pay shipping, whatever you would like. I currently have one pair of pants that fit me and not many shirts at all. Thanks for the consideration. Debbie

I am almost 4 weeks out and I feel the same way. I am going to see my PCP tomorrow morning and I'm sure she will do some labs. I will let you know if I find anything out.

I LOVE acupuncture! My insurance doesn't cover it so I don't do it anymore. I have never had it hurt though, you may want to try going to someone else.

You have a pet limit? I've never herd of such a thing! I can't believe anyone would do such a thing, they suck in the worst way.

I wish my shoes were too big! Well, I can't get motivated here either and it's not chilly I will be in Denver for my fill appt. Tue. and I will have to go buy some sort of jacket or sweatshirt so I don't freeze.

OMG!! I was at the mall yesterday and was starving and realized I hadn't eaten all day. I spotted a Starbucks and remembered you talking about the Vivanno. I got the Chocolate banana one and it was the yummiest. 270 calories but 21 gr. of protein and filled me up, thanks for posting about it :thumbup:

Sounds to me like you are the one keeping it going or you wouldn't have come back in here. If you were to read our posts I think that you will find we are ALL very focused on our weight loss and being healthy. You would also see how supportive we all are of each other. Wait, isn't that what this forum is all about?! I bet you run into conflict everywhere and never think it is you, huh?

Michelle, Congratulations!! I had a little trouble with nausea as well but the Zofran worked well for me. I thought the same thing about my stomach feeling so weird and I actually asked Natalie if it would always feel that way, lol. She said no, that will go away.

The surgery is done on an outpatient basis so there is no overnight hospital stay. I honestly do not feel I needed a night inthe hospital. You cannot drive yourself home since you will be under anesthesia and you would need someone to stay with you for the first 24 hours. My husband came with me and I am so glad he was there. It is a little difficult to get up and down every time you need soemthing. Dr. K told us that he only uses the Crown Point surgery Center because they were willing to make a deal with him in order to keep the cost of the surgery affordable for his patients.

Why would someone come into this thread when they do not like us?! There are so many other threads. This is not a place to come to for picking a fight, it is a support group. I have tried very hard not to post anything negative toward tihs person to reward her negative behavior. I will guarantee you that not a single soul from this thread has emailed her. I'm quite sure you would be a candidate with Dr. K. As far as the surgery center, and I say this very honestly, I have never been to better and I have had many surgeries. It was very clean and attractive and the staff (especially the nurses) could not have been better. They did not rush me and were very kind and personable. Hope this helps.

Not to worry about the soap. He told me he usually has patients do it but since I was from out of town not to worry about it and just to shower before I went in.
