I am not as good as posting here as Edie-she is such a good girl. I would estimate I have walked 60 miles since I last posted.

Well since my last post here I have added another 12 miles toward Edie... just pluggin along! LOL

My doc advised, 30 minutes before meals to last no longer than 20 minutes and wait 30 minutes after. Sometimes I wait longer based on my fullness. Good luck!

I saw that you feel you have no support. morefrommyband.com will send support group DVD to your home with a worksheet for 10 dollars per month. I have met Dr. Voung and he is great. His support meetings are helpful not just b*tch sessions, they have direction. There are sample meetings online if you would like to check it out. Good luck!

A couple of fun reads I just finished-The Accidental Werewolf and Accidentaly Dead by Dakota Cassidy Anyone watch Dexter? Love that show, currenly reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter-totally like the show. My husband like the Bones series by Kathy Reiches<sp> but the characters are not as in the show, he says good stories.

The Anita Blake novels are super great about a vampire hunter and I also enjoyed her Merry books about the fey. They can get pretty racey. But then I like that kinda thing. LOL. Laurell K. Hamilton

MoreFromMyBand.com Dr. Voung, who rocks BTW and I wish he did my surgery, is offering a subscripton of DVD's for like 9.95 a month with "handouts" you can print online. It is a DVD of a support meeting he usually hosts. He hosted one at the conference in Dallas and I really enjoyed it. Due to IKE there is a delay but this may be a solution for you and possibly some lap-buddies in your area. I have been thinking about hosting groups at my house when the DVDs start coming in that way there is direction and purpose to the meeting, hope this helps.

He said the actual surgery part took 30 min. I was first case and due to a delay in radiology for my swallow study I didn't get dc'd until 8pm.

Is your doc and nutritionist in the same office? If so I am with you, you should get to see them on the same day and only have one co-pay. That's how mine do it. Although my follow-up for the first year were included in the cost, so it doesn't cost me to follow-up.

I liked the video, there are two poses that you are on your hands and knees for, I am still pretty heavy and my knees didn't love them, but over all I felt good.
