From what I understand it depends on your insides lol. Liver I think? If it’s enflamed or something with the numbers in the lab your preop diet is different. To make it smaller for surgery. So it’s not just for anesthesia. It’s about making sure things go well in surgery too!

Oh no! What are you feeling? Did you throw it up? I asked a friend who went through the surgery years ago, why I’m hungry and craving so much all the time!! He told me it was miserable and it was the worst part at the beginning but that it does go away and that I would be happy. He said he used to torture himself and watch food network and he’d be so miserable. He said it didn’t last too long, but that it is normal at the beginning
