Hello everyone, my name is Sigrid and i got my swedish band on the 4. January. Since than, i lost 14 kg (sorry, i don´t know how much it is in lbs) and i´m very happy with my gastric-banding. The german doctor´s use only the swedish-gastric-band, because the complications with the lapband. Is there only the lapband in usa ?? Hi, i can give you information about the swedish-gastric-band operation in germany. i got it 2 month ago and it works great.... greetings Sigi
