I am a former Yankee, but now call Hattiesburg home. I decided on the Realize Lap Band because I realized that I was setting a horrible example for my daughter, and I am destroying the temple that God created. And that causes me to be a distraction while in the mission field. That's not what God had intended for me and for my life. So after yo-yoing my entire life and finally at 370, I had to do something immediately!
Since I have admitted my failures and faced my shameful guilt, I am now finding hope on this journey to fix my weight problems. Breaking through years of frustration, guilt, shame, and unhappiness, have been very liberating. And I believe that I am truly the most happy with myself than I have been in years. All of this, just from admitting that I have a problem.
