I am about six weeks post op. I've lost a total of 30 pounds since I began the process in March of this year. I have lost 19 pounds in six weeks and was told by my surgeon that I have not lost enough weight. I am 48 years old, post hysterectomy, and struggle to do my very best, but the scales don't move. I have resorted to putting up the scales, because at this point I have lost any motivation. I will keep doing my best to eat right but I am over it. My doctor told me that when I come back, 09/24, I should be down at least 20 more pounds. How in the world? I drink protein shakes, I put protein powder in my drinks, I drink water.....I am even exercising. What more can I do? I am at my wits end.
