A very good friend of mine, Lucy, passed away in mid January.
 
3 of Lucy's friends (including me) and Lucy's daughter got memorial tattoos for her on the 25th Jan 2011.

12 days pre-op for full band replacement - 69kgs.

A 7 lb loss from my last pic. I can't see it yet but I'm still going to keep posting a progress pics until I can!

Just under 70kgs now. Weight loss without the band is so much slower!

27lb weight gain from my stable weight of 132lbs

I was 3 years banded on the 1st of Aug 2011, and am in my 4th year as a lapbander. No complications, I seldom feel hungry, I don't even exercise formally anymore, and I can eat almost anything.

I did a photoshoot recently to commemorate my weight loss and turning 41. I also wanted to capture pics of my tattoos. This is one of the 15 final photos that was produced out of the shoot. This is me at 130lbs, steady on that weight for almost a year now.

Finally, I am not self conscious about wearing a bikini! I'm at a normal BMI, my body lift scars are cleverly camouflaged by my tattoo, my breasts have been 're-inflated' and I actually like what I see in the mirror. Finally, after all these years, I will be wearing a bikini to the beach this summer!

nearly 7 months with a leaky band (despite a revision to replace my port in March) and I'm up to 149lbs now. With hard work I've been stable for about 2 months now. Another port replacement surgery in a couple of weeks...
