Oxtails are so hard to resist. I’ll miss them as well.

My surgery, revision from sleeve to RNY, is on 9/20 and pre-op diet begins 9/6. I’m feeling all sorts of feelings; excitement, anxiety and a little apprehension. Good luck everyone! I look forward to reading about your progress.

Recommendations for unflavored protein powder
PecanFrost replied to Christina Phillips's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The one I use I purchase from Bariatric Advantage. It’s called Nectar Medical Unflavored. It has 10g of protein per scoop and it easily goes into everything without leaving an aftertaste. I use it in grits, soup and drinks. -

Gotcha! I’m a little worried I might have the same issue.

Oh goodness! That sounds awful! Do you mind sharing what type of complications? Did you have to stay in the hospital those two days or were able to go home. I’ve been worried something like that might happen with me during my surgery. I had a hysterectomy back in 2018 and during the procedure my bladder was ripped in half because of adhesions 🤦🏽♀️.
