Hi IndioGirl55,
My name is Joyce, I live in Michigan. I was banded last June and I am just now getting down to the real business of losing weight. I could use some of your tough band love.
I did well at first, but as the economy slipped, I did too. The world may be in a recession, but I slipped into a depression.
This past week I went back to my doctor, got a band adjustment and started working out again everyday for 1 hour. I see the doctor again in another week.
My BMI was not large to start with, 39, so it is not like I can choose to eat less and lose weight; I have to excerise period. I currently weigh 200, and am 5' 2".
Since my band adjustment a week ago I have been paying closer attention to those foods that don't "slip" though the band as easily. The best I have found so far is a sproutted grain bread, soak it in 1 egg and make a french toast out of it. Normally I cannot eat the entire slice. I would really appreciate some food suggestions from you.

kbattal,
I was intrigued that you did your own fills. I'm a med professional, I saw what the nurse did and thought,"I'm paying $200 for this?" So I got online and looked up huber needles and prefilled salaine syringes and did it myself. NO Problem. What has been your experience?
