I just got home from the hospital. I’m doing ok, no more and no less pain than I imagined. Finding it a bit hard to drink enough but persisting with it. I’m glad it’s done and I can keep going. For those with surgery in the coming days and weeks, listen to your team, you will be great! 💖💖💖💖 -

Preop is going well. It has a definite end date so it’s in sight! One and a bit weeks in, 2 and a bit to go. I am ever so slightly hungry but a drink of water helps. If that’s not working, I have a bag of carrots on my desk that I munch on. 6 kg down so far -
