LLL, No I don't drink any pop or shakes or calorie drinks at all, but as your pointing out the fills, I also noticed that after just a few days it doesn't feel tight anymore, Dr. H told me I might not get the maximum amount of tightness for up to 10 days, I'm just the opposite. Also, What the Hell happens if it keeps loosening between fills, and we run out of room to fill!!!!!!!!!!!OMG what happens then. groan, I'm getting nervous, I didn't know we got 3cc at surg. What do you think???

Dear LLL, do you really eat potatoes, and does Dr. H know. Cause he reemed me a new one when I told him I ate a small baked potatoe and he was really angry and said to never eat pot, rice, bread, etc. I'm so confused? and now, I am not losing, and my body is playing this gain and lose 3 lbs. every other day. and also, I feel like I can eat alot for someone banded. I've had 2 1.5cc fills the last on 8/26 and whatever they put in my band at surg. Any feedback would be wonderful, cause I feel like i'm doing everything wrong..

I got a fill on aug. 26, and I lost 5 lbs. since then, i have just stagnated and i am not drinking with my meals and go for aquatic therapy 2 times weekly. all they allow on medical insurance. i have been eating pistachios for snacks do you think it could be that?oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooo depressed, i have gained 1.5 lbs and havent lost anything in 1.5 weeks eeeeeeeeeeeeeek! whats happening??????? I feel fatter and I am losing some of my refound energy, did this ever happen to anyone else, i am still doing phase 1 and not cheating, help!!!!

Hoffman and then u just pick were u want to go. I go to Greenfield Nursing Home on broadway in Alden or lancaster? Judy, Make sure you have all your foods at home before surg. don't want to be shopping for a few days. viactive??? i've tried all kinds of chewables, and they were all disgusting, even flintstones so I will try these since everyone likes them so much. do you get them in a regular pharmacy or GNC? china, yes i did want to eat everything and in weight watchers it is called "the last supper" because you know you will not be able to eat like that anymore so you try and stuff all your favorites in before you cant. its normal, talk to ya later...

bloom, I'm so sorry your stressed, my white cells were also elevated, and they just asked if i had something minor going on and i said just some sinus stuff from allergies and they said o.k. and put me through, so i'm shocked to here all this stuff with you and jen that you had to have repeat blood work and all. but with such a low number, I can't imagine they will cancel, so go get that machine or they just might. good luck and don't worry, jen is right the week before surg is more stressful than the surg itself.....vicki

I am unable to do the gym cause of knee and back problems, but I do aquatic therapy at a pool at greenfield nursing home in alden, love it!!!

you go girl!!! thats alot of wt to lose in 2 months. we are all different but in the end, it all evens out. I was banded on 6/9/08 and have lost 48 total but 18 of that was pre-op. your doing great.. who is following you now that Forbes is gone. Hoffman is great but I here Posner is also very good.. anyway welcome! and good luck were all here for ya, just holler..........

I'm also glad to here about the fills, cause I got my second one a few weeks ago, and it only seems to last so long and then there is nothing.

Yes! I also have a Baker's cyst, and have had 2 knee surgery and had my miniscus removed. the nest step is knee replacement, and my other knee has suffered also and I have ruptured discs in my back. My doc wrote me a script for aqua therapy (pool) and i go twice a week. I was banded on june 9, 2008, and have lost 50lbs. ask your doc and my insurance covers maybe yours will too...good luck

Don't worry China, I think they try to scare the crap out of everyone just so they make an honest attempt at trying and I agree with LLL Jeannie has the personality of a door, and she just doesn't seem to happy with her job. Dr. H has you scheduled and the insurance is o.k. do you really think they are going to cancell and lose all that money cause you came up short? I don't think sooo........ and Hey is anyone out there besides me having porblems with this site. I keep getting e-mails saying if I don't visit the site they will quit sending me posts????? and I already had problems with my password. Any advice, there is no way to contact these people...

Dr. H contributes it to the pool, I go the Greenfield nursing home on Broadway in Alden for Aquatic therapy and it seems to be helping alot, even with the knee and back pain. I go two times a week. you also are doing awsome and I hope this doesn't slow down anytime soon, but if it does, it does, as long as it doesn' go up!!

Dear bloom, Sorry, put my foot in my mouth along with all that food as usual (about the childbearing stuff) anyway I was in a crazy mood yesterday and hope you know no concerns are trivial, cause we all worry about different things. the nail polish thing is for the pulse ox they put on your finger to register how much oxygen you have in your blood, and also to check blood return when they press on your nail and it turns white and then back to pink again. but hey!!!, your on your way to thin and it is so exciting and I'm with you all the way. you are going to do great. try to worry about your clothing allowance, cause your going to have to buy all new stuff. isn't that terrible, ha ha...talk to you guys later, and by the way whoever was asking about c-pap, I have been on it for about 1 1/2 yrs and i use it everynight, it was better than waking up gasping for air, and i got it at apnea care, there is one in west seneca and amherst...good luck p.s. If they know you have apnea they told me if i didn't bring my machine, they would cancell my surgery. so I took it....
