Hey tinker053, I’m experiencing the same. I’m a week out and only 2 pounds down its pretty disheartening but I did allot of reading and definitely thing hop_scotch is right on this. I still feel swollen and can’t even remember the amount of iv bags that were pumped in during the hospital stay. The pain meds may also cause retention. I’m hopeful we will both see solid results soon!

Good morning everyone! I’ve been reading the post and am so glad people have been doing well (although hard). I can’t wait to try some of the purée stage ideas I read about! I just had my sleeve done 4 days ago and I’m happy to say everyone was right with the 4 day hump thing. I woke up feeling allot better than the previous days. The only thing I’m having trouble with is the dammed heparin shots 😥. I have to give myself 2 injections a day for a month :/. Anyone else had to do this?

I just got a call about switching my date from Monday to tomorrow! I’m so excited and nervous at the same time. I thought I would have to do clear liquids 24 hours before but I guess not!

I started liquids today ….. I just realized how much mindless tasting and nibbling I do if my toddlers food. PB?J never smelled so good 🙄

Hey everyone!! I’m scheduled for June 28th and I’m super super excited. I just had my final visit with my nutritionist and am hoping for the best. I was told I would have to go on the pre-op protein/liquid diet starting in the 14th. Right now my biggest struggle is getting out of the: “ I won’t be able to eat it later so I should eat it now” mindset. I’m toughing through and have been really good about dieting but these last few days the reality of no more of my favorites is setting in! Hoping for amazing results for all of us!
