ok so im like freeking out ive been banded since march ninth about 6 weeks and never burped or pb'd or anything, but i went running today and did cardio for about 30 minutes every time i eat or drink anything now I burp and have a weird feeling like my band is doing something weird, do you think running could have made it slip?

can you excersize after six weeks? some one please tell me because i went running today after 6 weeks and 4 days and now everytime i take a bite I burp and everytime i take a drink i burp and have a weird back draft up my throat Im freeking out this didnt happen till i went running do you think i made my band slip ?

c thats what i thought but when i did of course this happened just to freak me out i guess i will wait and see how i feel in a couple of days...I would cry if i had to loose it already....

If your immune system is down I have had simular problems and i found a solution candida is in our bodies which is basically yeast,.....and your body is always fighting it constantly.....so it cant fight off other sicknesses, so my advice would be to go to a holistic doctor and ask for a prescription of anti-fungal medicine take one like every other day when the candida is killed out you will feel 100 times better atleast i did, and for some reason fat people have more candida...lol a holistic doctor can help with this , "natural doctor"

how long did yall wait to have sex with your husbands after surgery?

im not trying to sound stupid but i was banded last week and it seems as if i feel something hard right in the middle underneath my boobs when i get out of a chair or move a certain way , is it possible to actually feel your band? Do you know if the band can move out of place?

Carla, I was just banded on thursday......the first two days i thought to my self what was i thinking because of the pain but now on the third and fourth day i am so happy, Ive already lost 16 pounds since my pre op diet and i havent ate in so long that i dont even have an appetite so just stick with the pre op diet and after a while you wont even miss food because its almost like your body adjusts, even though in your head you will still think about food.....the more protein i drink the more satisfied i feel and sugar free fudge pops are great too....

this one is great! i just got a lapband and found out about this it is 23 grams of protein for 1 scoop i put 4 scoops in one large glass and then drink 4 ounces at a time so im getting 90 grams of protein a day, and it taste great and has no clumps they have like lots of flavors to choose from too.....the number to order it is 1866-337-7403 good luck...oh and it even taste good with water instead of milk...

ok i was banded on thursday...yea but i have a question does anyone know if you can switch doctors for after care because they are not very nice and their after care program sucks......?

well its not that their after care program is that bad it is more how i was treated during and after the surgery that concerns me ....i felt comfortable about this office until it was a little too late...

i got banded on thursday and just able to get around....Im happy that i know i did it...does anyone know if you can change doctors for your after care because i am not satisfied with their after care program and their not all that nice anyways.....

Hi Im on my liquid diet and suppose to have surgery on Thursday, Im getting scared now and do not know if i want to do it.....I have researched it and im not scared of the way i will have to eat .....I am scared of the surgery itself......and how the lapband will affect my body......I woulld really like to know does every one on here like their lapband and how bad was the surgery??????/

im just wondering if anyone who has a lapband smokes ? I smoke and im sort of worried about an occasional cough moving it....

see thats what i asked my doctor and he said that the band would not slip because they actually stich it in place, but everyone else says it can...guess there is no for sure answer...

im getting my surgery on thursday...and my doctor is only worried about the surgery itself with me being a smoker and im more worried about coughing in the mornings while the band is healing so how much do you smoke a day?

how long does it take for people to get back to work after surgery...my doctor says 3-5 days but that seems impossible.....
