Today marked my one month sleeve-versary! I’ve lost from 1-3 inches throughout my body. The scale has been stuck for a while for me. My nutritionist told me I’m not getting in enough protein so it’ll be hard to support fat loss. I like focusing on fat loss instead of weight loss. My greatest struggle is getting enough fiber to support healthy bowels. I get bloated sometimes. Still navigating through learning my hunger and full cues. My scars are almost invisible! I’m so impressed with the overall surgery. I’m looking forward to more consistent results. Hope you all are doing well!

This heartburn is unreal.. what helps it?

How are you doing?

Well, I’m on day 3 post op. I feel like I’ve been doing very well so far. Pain is little to none. No nausea or vomiting. Today, I’m struggling with swallowing. My throat is sore and irritated from the anesthesia. I have no voice and it hurts to swallow. Help! Oh, also… the gas the first day after surgery is unreal! GasX and walking came in super handy…

Hey Everyone, Monday morning is my surgery. Any suggestions for this weekend to help me prepare? It’s so odd, I was told no nail polish on the day of surgery! It’s a silly thing, but my nails are pretty and probably one of the things I’m most proud of about my body. I was looking forward to having a nice manicure... oh well.

Are you going to have surgery in Sept? If so, why is the liquid diet starting so soon?

Hi All - My sleeve surgery is scheduled for 6/28. I am eager and excited about it. Today I found this forum and I could not be happier. I have so many questions and love to learn more from those going through it too.
