  1. I found myself going up a bit for the first time since sleeve surgery due to sneaky "exceptions" 👎 which I allowed to my healthy eating plan. I since found that a helpful practice is to drink a full half liter glass of water before allowing myself to eat any food or other drink and breaking my meal into two portions separated by at least 15 minutes. When I do that, I really am unable eat more than planned, sometimes I don't even finish. That has me headed in the right direction again, just about back to my lowest weight, which is close to my overall goal. Not saying it's right for others, just a practice that I find quite helpful...
  2. Yes, I try to do it 30 min before, sometimes I come a little short, but not by too much. Still helps a lot.

2 pounds down after 30 pound regain

Great! Keep it up. Similar for me. Went up a little bit for the first time since surgery, now heading back. Working hard to get into a healthy eating routine and avoid letting those sneaky "exceptions" become the rule...

    Fatigue

Common I think. For the first 2-3 months, was tired nearly every afternoon and whenever I did anything strenuous. It gets better.

    Regret and Depression

I certainly was questioning my decision in the first couple weeks. I was miserable for much of it. But now, 5.5 months out, I am very happy with my decision. Hang on and hang in-there...
  6. Getting close - 196 lbs as of this week.  Goal is 195.  Actually, I'm thinking of adjusting my goal.  I'd like to get down to 185 to get rid of this scraggly belly jiggle, then try to build back up to 200 with muscle instead.

    Trouble With Eggs Post-Op?

I can't tolerate eggs either. No matter how mushy (or delicious), once they go in, it doesn't work. I'm only 6 weeks out from surgery though - hopefully it will improve soon.
  8. I didn't tell anyone other than my spouse. It's not anyone else's business. By chance during the initial exams, they found a serious gallstone problem that required the gall bladder removal. That, and some related complications, kept me in the hospital for a number of additional days and that was not a secret.
