I have only lost 22 lbs, since surgery on 4/13/21 the past 10 days have been no weight loss. Can eat more things now, but wondering if I need to go back to 90 grams of protein per day- right now I’m at 30-60 and eat a small meal at night. Haven’t had sugar in a long time. Haven’t been drinking much water either. Any thoughts out there?

I can’t do kick boxing until 4 weeks post op, but running is ok- and I run slow, so it’s more like jogging. -

I’m 15 days post roux en y and have been doing well and even running slowly, Ran 2 miles in less than 32 minutes yesterday including a hill! Last night I felt dehydrated and hungry and I’m now 15 days after surgery so I picked. Mushy meal of beef vegetable soup and I ate it. This morning had horrific bleeding stomach problems and had to miss work. Haven’t had this before- so I tried to eat eggs late afternoon and threw up. This is my first bad day. I am tolerating my medications, etc. but today my stomach is cramping and not very happy. also the weight loss stalled this week- not sure why. Today I finally dropped a pound. anyone have any comments? -

I’m 2 weeks post roux rn y a d I’m happy! I ran 2 miles including a giant hill yesterday and walked 3 more miles after that. Went back to work 10 days after surgery and I’m doing very well. I did progress my food incorrectly last night and had a bad morning from beef stew!!! So I need to stick with protein shakes got a few days, but I’m not dying or hungry and I’ve lost a lot of weight so far, even people who don’t know about my surgery are commenting on how good I look- my asthma has disappeared and reflux/ heartburn and jusT moving is easier! I think this has added 10 years to my lifespan, maybe more. I’m very happy!
