Stats for petite people! I’m 5’0 with BMI 40

First of all welcome to the journey!! I had VSG. I am currently 4 weeks post op! I am 5’2 and started out also with a 40 BMI and at 231lbs. I am now currently 200. The 31lb weight loss is noticeable in my face and you can definitely tell with the way my shirts fit now. Everything is slimming in a downward motion - my face, neck and bust line were noticeably smaller in week 2. My torso is very short, so my stomach is slimmer, but the skin flap is still there. I’m just now returning to work this week and will also be hitting the gym as well. So I’m hoping to tighten up this skin. Im so excited for you! Good luck!!
  2. I’ve made it 4 weeks. I’m going back to work!!! Im very used to having everything at my disposal at home. But, what suggestions do you guys have for lunches, and/or snacks for work? I’m going to bring me some premier protein shakes for my mini fridge. But is there anything else that I should keep around? I’m super nervous about getting active again, I’m definitely going to take it slow. Just don’t want to accidentally starve myself due to not having much appetite.

    Any April 2021 surgeries?!

How long did you wait before you tried the puréed and mushy foods? Im not gonna push it, I’m too paranoid. But I like knowing how others progressed.

    Any April 2021 surgeries?!

I had my surgery on 4/21. So far I feel good. Sore but walking like a champ! My abdominal binder and heating pad are my best friends. Im on day two of not having to take pain meds. Gas drops work wonders to help with that. I’m dying to eat real food. But I know it’s a process.
