How much can you eat after 4 months post op?
samann replied to Spencer Lee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My surgery was 5/6. And I too eat about a cup of food. Not salads though and I really can't stomach meat. Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app -

Hi everyone my surgery was 5/6. Ditto to the nausea for a couple days. Walk walk walk sure has made a big difference. Little short ones is all that is needed. I have no nausea now and my stitch areas are not a painful now just once spot. Doing okay on the water and so ready for the next phase of protein shake. I did not take any pain med either so I don't have that issue to deal with. Just Tylenol. Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app

How are you doing? I am in pre Op shakes. No meat, just veggies and small serving of fruit. Then 24 HR before surgery just clear liquids. Going in Monday for covid test and one more blood work. Then Thursday is the day... Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery Scheduled and Telling No One
samann replied to ShanIAmVA's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I am on my pre Op diet and its is getting real. I am so nervous but I know this last year of nutrition classes and changing my behavior habits about food is going to set me up for success. I am glad I took a year to get to the surgery instead of rushing through it. Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app -

I was diagnosed with GERD and Hiatal hernia. My doctor too suggested the endoscopy but I wanted the sleeve so I took almost a year and weaned myself off my medication through behavioral and diet changes. I know do not take any meds and my doctor is okay with the sleeve. It's about lifetime changes with whatever surgery you decide to get. Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery Scheduled and Telling No One
samann replied to ShanIAmVA's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My surgery as May 6th and I did not tell anyone about the sleeve, however, I was having issues with my heartburn and part of my tests before surgery found that I had hiatal hernia, just told my coworkers and family I was going in to get that fixed. I too don't want to tell anyone. It's personal and that's okay..... Good Luck we got this Sent from my LM-G900TM using BariatricPal mobile app -
