I really think you need to drink more water. You could get dehydrated. You should have at least 52 oz of water every day. You will have cravings and I wish I never gave into mine. That is awesome you have lost that much so fast. Good job keep it up. Where do you get the shakes you are drinking? I have never heard of them until now.

I am kinda new to the site cause I don't understand how to use it. Well I really need support so I am going to try this. I have been banded for 1 yr and 1 month, but was not told about everything and how it all works. I had my first fill in April 2009 and the doctor missed. I didn't know how the fill thing felt since it was my forst one. I thought something was wrong with my band. I have to pay cash to get fills as I dont' have health insurance. My first fill was almost $500.00 and no results. I was so sad I was exersicing everyday and only lost 1lbs in the 2 1/2 months until I could afford another fill. The second one was a little cheaper at just under $300.00. This is where the same doctor found that there was no fluid in my band and even asked me if I went somewhere else. I was like oh yeah I love paying people tons of money to put fluid in my band and then pay someone else to take it out. So anyhow to the point of my second fill that was on June 22 nd I had lost a total of 30 lbs in the year. I was so sad thinking my band was a tolal failure. Since the second fill I have not lost another 10lbs and see that it still works. I am so happy. The only problem I am having is learning what I can and can't eat. I also am having trouble learning to chew my food up really good. I guess that was one of my problems that made me fat. I don't chew my food really good. Is there any hints someone might have for me? Also what is the best diet to be on to lose weight the fastest? I need more then a 10lb weight lose in almost 1 month. I need to get it off. Also how do I make a progress bar? I think this will keep me motivated.

My friends all did and lost all the weight in like 6-8 months. I am struggling so much and exercise daily watch what I eat and I get nothing. My fat loves me, but I hate it.

I wanted to let you know I have been banded for 1 year now. I couldnt afford to get my first fill until 3 months ago it cost me $479.00 and I still had no restriction. I did lose 40lbs with out a fill and then after 6-8 months started gaining. I gained like 8 lbs back. I am so sad cause I still have not been able to afford to go back and get another fill yet. I am hoping soon I will beable to. This was the most frusterating surgery I have ever had cause I thought I would have lost all the extra weight I have to lose by now. Just get all the fills you can and you should be fine.

I was banded 06/06/08 and I have only lost 30 lbs. I feel like I can eat anything and everything once again. I need help. I don't want to gain any weight back I want to continue to lose. Please help me. I can't get a fill because I had my surgery done in TJ Mexico. No one will take me on as a patient here in Utah. I am trying to fight the urges but not doing very well. I also don't know if I am starting a new post or how to do it. Please help as you can see I am struggling and need support.

Well anyhow I still can make way better food chocies now because I don't feel an immediate need for food anymore. I was 288lbs and I am now only after 1 month and 1 week 268lbs. I am motivated to lose it and I can't wait until I can ride a bike and do more with my kids. If anyone has any info on a fill in Utah let me know.

I was so upset when Mandisa was told she was done I hate this show now. You know it is fixed if she was let go this fast in the game. She did do pretty bad last week but she is better then all of those other ametures.

Hi, Everyone I had my first appt. today and we have already set a date for surgery. I am so excited I will be banded on April 24th. I can't belive it was that easy and fast. I weighed in today at 283lbs. I hope to get down to 150-160lbs. Everyone give a shou:clap2: t out for me wish me luck.

:clap2: I found a surgen right in my home town thanks to this site. He only charges $12700 and that includes follow-ups and fills for a year. My first appt. is on March 27th I am so excited. They even have payment plans. Could this dicision I made get any better?

I am new to the site and very interested in getting the lapband. I am 31 feeling 40+. I weigh 280 and have been big all of my life. I am done I need the lap band, but I have no incurance. I can still pay alot but not 23000+. Does anyone know the cheapest safest way I can get this done? Please help me out and tell me your experince.

I live in utah. I havent researched it much here, but from what I know it is very expensive anywhere in the US. How much does a fill cost w/out insurance? Does anyone know anyone who has had complications with the band. Besides throwing up?
