Hi gals....Hope all is well. I have been at Mom's for a couple of days. I've had a headache for a week and a half, I figured it was allergies, well...I got sick and went to Dr yesterday and it's turned into a sinus infection. Fell some better, I have a headache still. I couldnt eat yesterday, everything came back up. Trying to eat a banana now and its kinda difficult. Will get a Slim Fast after I post this. I'm on vacation this week. DIL is coming Thursday for a couple of days. Looking forward to that. Joann....sounds like you had a great time on your camping trip except for that 1 hot day. 110* eek !! I went to some Thrift stores and a Goodwill store Sunday after church and found 4 pairs of nice casual slacks. I paid 12.00 for all 4!! :tongue2: Apples, how can you stand to be around all that wonderful food you cook. I admire your will power, that I don't have much of. Lori...loved your picture on top of that mountain. You look so GREAT !!:cursing: Charlene, have you heard back anything from your DH's test? Mrs Bubba, so sorry that you are having to go through that with your brother. What if you told them, if you all can't come to an agreement you will sell to an outsider? lol. that would make 1 brother really mad, better forget that idea. Hope I never have to go through this with my brothers. My cousin went through that with her sister, and they didn't speak for years, they are very close now. I went to 2 GoodWill stores today and couldn't find anything I liked. I'm going to spend a couple of days at Moms tomorrow, plan on looking at some over in Ft Worth. Finally bought me some Calcium pills today. It may be too late. I bought the Citracal Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D. They are petites, easier to swallow. I just took 2 and they went down with no problems. Mrs. Bubba forgot to mention to you, hang in there, the weight will come off. I have been there. I lose very slow, but at least I'm losing. I'm at my sweet spot now. Went to Lubys for lunch and I couldnt eat all of my Lu Ann plate.

Linda...So sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Is it better or about the same? When did you say the results will be in? Meridith, hope you are feeling ok and no complications. I love my band so much, I couldn't have lost this weight without it. Charlene, when will hubbys results be in? Keeping you both in my prayers...all of you guys are in my prayers. You lapband buddies mean so much to me Peas...I know you're having so much fun with your parents visiting. Anxious to hear everything you all did. Wtg with your workouts. That is my problem area. I just can't get myself to work out like you all do. I know I need to. Will work out tonight..promise. Charlene, Apples, I need to find a GoodWill near me. A few weeks ago I went to this Thrift Store by my Moms house. I found 2 pairs of jeans, perfect condition for 2.99 each. I was amazed since I have never shopped at a used clothing store before. I will be looking next week while on vacation. Apples enjoy your time at the lake. I'm so jealous. For years Mom and Dad had a house on the lake, then when he got ill, Mom sold it. Charlene, so sorry that your hubbys surgery was put off. How is he doing. Laura, your son is such a cutie !! Hi everyone !! I have been so busy this week with different things that I haven't had time to post. I am feeling great now, I am starting to get really hungry. I believe I irritated band and caused it to swell and it made me so sick. I will go back June 15th and hopefully get back what he took out. Have a great weekend. We are heading Saturday morning to a family reunion. I'm looking forward to this, I haven't been in a few years, 1 of the reasons is .. well...you know. I have a story I want to share with you before I get off and go iron a blouse for tomorrow. Last night I was over at DS & DIL for dinner. After dinner we were sitting around and I took out this little book I carry that has my before pic in it. I showed it to DS and he said Wow...he was amazed. He called his wife to take a look and she was shocked too, she said " you look like a totally different person " . I think since seeing me twice a week at least they didn't notice the weight change that much. janet...lol, It made me feel great !!!!!:thumbup: Nite all, hope you are all doing well. Hi everyone, sorry its taken so long to post here. I tried last night but I couldn't get in. I went to the Dr yesterday and he took out half of what he put in on my last fill. I was down 9 lbs yesterday since last fill. I feel so much better now, still a little weak since I've been taking it slow with my food. I should never have let the pb'ing go on for so long that it made me so ill. The Dr looked at the band which he always does at every visit and said there is no damage. Thank you all for your support. I love you all, wish there was a way that someday we can all meet each other. Hugs to all of you. Pam

Good Morning everyone. Down 2 lbs since yesterday, I wasn't able to keep anything down last night. I tried chicken noodle soup, and popsicles. Couldn't keep Popsicle down either. A bit ago I got 2 Tylenol down since my head is killing me. My body aches all over from dehydration. I'm sitting here now sipping on Pedialyte, so far so good. Mrs Bubba, you have a great day today!!! Hubby is taking me to Mom's today so she can drive me to the Dr tomorrow, since he won't be able. Have a great day everyone....will post tomorrow. Pam

Charlene, I'm terribly sick right now. Haven't had a meal since Tuesday night. Yesterday evening is when it got real bad. Hubby and I met DS & DIL at Abblebees. I ordered Chili thinking I might be able to handle it. Ran to the bathroom after every tiny bite. The most embarrassing thing happened to me I pd right there at the table, my salava. Luckily we were in a corner booth. Got up this morning, I had some coffee and felt pretty good, then about 1 hr later I started freezing, hands were shaking, then my fingers were numb. The Dr was called and their office was open til 10 this morning, but I didnt know. By the time we got ahold of the DR on call, they were closed. He said go to ER since I need an IV...there is a problem there, I can't go to ER, my DH changed our Insurance and it won't be effective until July 1st. He was told June 1st. My part would be 2000.00. When I went to the ER after surgery because I was too tight, the bill was 10,000. Warning to all you newbies, don't let this happen, if you PB everyday...call Dr. I waited too long. :drool:

Lori..that may be my problem, bites not small enough, eating too fast. I am going to pay close attention to that and see how I do over the weekend. Thanks for bring that to my attention. Never been to the chat room, I think that would be fun to all meet there.

Great news. My Mom sent me a message in Facebook telling me how proud she is of me for losing 60lbs and how great she thinks I look. Made me feel so good. Today my niece who is also a bander and at her goal sent me a message too. Still following my plan of keeping mouth shut. Lori...you look so good. You look like a different person. WTG !! Janet...enjoy your company, I'm getting grandbaby girl tomorrow for the weekend, I treasure the time I have with her. I'm beginning to wonder if I may be too tight. I never go a day without pb'ing. Mornings are usually ok, but lunch and dinner..not good. I need stick to the Slim Fast at lunch I guess and make sure I dont skip my vitamins and protein shots. Will keep posting here, it does help so much. Thanks gals

Yes, I can relate to that. This past Saturday I reached my 60 lbs loss mark. I was sooo excited. My Mom came over and I told her and she said nothing. I posted on facebook. Not one family member commented, yet some facebook friends did. My co-workers give me the most support, compliments, etc. I posted my before picture in my album here along with a picture taken Saturday. I didn't know how to post them on this thread.
