Does anyone know how I will take my meds that are capsules? I take 2 blood pressure pills a day, one is a capsule, plus celebrex, which is capsule also. The others Premarin, daily baby aspirin will be crushed right? My pre-op appt is Friday morning, surgery is Aug. 4th. -

Good Luck with your Surgery. Anxious to hear how it goes and how you feel afterwards. Was it pretty hard to do the shakes only? I will find out friday morning what my dr. has me to do before surgery. Wow...20 lbs...thats great !!! wtg, -
Will someone please send me instructions....(step by step) on setting up the ticker for days until my surgery. I just can't figure it out. :confused_smile: Would really appreciate it.

My pre op appt is this friday the 18th.

Sorry to hear it is taking so long for some of you to get approved. Hope you get answers soon. My surgery date is Aug. 4th. My first appt to see the lap band Dr. was May 7th. Got Insurance approval May 14th. Had to see psycologist and nutritionist, then date was set. Good luck to you.

You mentioned bread may get stuck. Food getting stuck is my biggest fear. I can't imagine what that feels like. I fear getting choked. That scares me to death. Can you explain the feeling of food getting stuck and what you do when that happens. Can it be dangerous???? -

My niece was banded 3 years ago. She told me that once I get my band I want be able to eat bread again? Does anyone have trouble eating bread? I loveeeeeeeeee Bread !!! -

I'm a newbie, my surgery date is August 4th. I have been reading and researching, trying to find out what to expect. Can someone explain the difference between Optima & Optifast? They are shakes right for the liquid diet that I will be on prior to surgery? Where can I find these? Thanks !! -

I will be banded Aug 4th. I'm enjoying this site so much. I have notes everywhere. My hubby walked in the other night and said what are all these notes you have stuck on this computer monitor. My question today is....What is the purpose for doing the pouch test? I want to give you all a big THANK YOU for all your help getting me started and CONGRATULATIONS on all of your weight loss. Ok...gals what do you think. I have my 1st pre op appt July 18th. Would you eat what you want until then and enjoy myself. I had taken myself off of sodas before I saw the nutitionist and she told me to enjoy them while I can. Just wondering if you all agree with me. :confused2:
