  1. I made the choice to weigh in once a week on Saturdays. I get to see a bigger jump (hopefully) than I would daily. Weighing daily drove me crazy in previous weight loss programs. I was always questioning myself. how often do you weigh in?

    Feeling discouraged!

Weigh once a week. It’s a bigger jump and gives you incentive for the next week.

First day of liquid stage 2. Worried.

I felt the same way. I can drink pretty sizable drinks of water and smoothies. I worried that I wouldn’t feel full and maybe it didn’t work for me. BUT I tried more solid food yesterday for the first time - tuna with some Mayo (about a quarter cup) and boy did I feel the “restriction.” Today one meal I had some hard boiled egg on a bit of lettuce and same thing. Very full.
  4. Hi. I got sleeved on April 10th. I’ve lost 14 lbs so far. I know weight loss won’t always be this rapid but I’m curious about how confident everyone is about their shrinking size. I’m looking to order some summer clothes. Just a few things. If I order some things for say July, would you order a size or two smaller? I’m concerned if I wait until late June there won’t be anything left! What did, or would, you guys do?

    Post-op question

I’m two weeks post op. My pain was pretty bad first day. Better the second. I took the prescribed pain killers for about the next 6 days. I’m absolutely fine now

    Full from water

I found this the first two or three days after surgery but 8 days out and it’s a lot better. Perhaps try sipping on something with electrolytes? I drank coconut water (pure, no sugar etc) for the first few days and it really helped.

    Newbie

Had sleeve surgery on April 10th. I am new to this forum and after just an hour of reading I’ve learned the answers to questions I had that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I’m grateful that some of you, even 18 months-2years post op still take the time to answer questions and engage. If anyone out there has had recent surgery and wants a support buddy to stay in touch with over the next few challenging months, I’m looking!

    Vitamins

I’ve just been crushing mine to dust in a mortar and pestle and putting it in a protein smoothie. I was also told no gummies.
