    Post Op Bra Size

Absolutely, I was determined I was not going to buy new clothes but then it got really bad trying hold up my pants an walk bras were a problem it took me a couple of tries to find the perfect ones an underwear oh my gracious!! It is a great problem to have though isn’t it? I’m down 166lbs an still working on it 10 months out
  2. That is it exactly my feet curl under an the pain in my shin is just crazy. Thank you all I am calling my Dr on my day off an definitely going to try your suggestions
  3. Hello all, it has been awhile since I have posted anything I have been just working on me. I am down now 166lbs . Still going but I have a been having horrible leg cramps all they the day and night. I calling my Dr tomorrow I feel like it is probably because I’m not exercising as I should or something I Drink 80-100 ounces of water daily Angie most every day I am very strict about my diet. Idotaoemy vitamins an calcium but something is going wrong.. Has another else ever had this problem?
  4. I personally have been very fortunate. My portions are smaller an I stay away from sugar. I am 8 mos post op and I only have 71 more pounds to go to reach my goal. I watch what I eat but I have never been a big exercise person that part is a struggle. I am thankful for the surgery, I can walk an stand where as before I could not even stand long snout to make my own bed without a break. We go shopping an we can park anywhere because I am able to walk an stay walking for long periods of time. I work outside in my yard an enjoy family outings again. My biggest struggle is clothing right now as I’m in my weight loss phase I don’t want to buy too many things so I have been looking like a bag lady tied pants on with my shirt hanging off my shoulders. For this problem I am grateful
  5. I personally just went through the hair loss part of my journey. Mind you I had very thick long hair, I got worried as it came out in huge handful wads at times. I felt like a shedding animal but I can tell you it ends an then it’s growing back already. My hairdresser noticed it was thinner but nobody else has noticed at all. I was worried an watched a few videos an read a lot but in the end I just didn’t distress my hair any further than it was. I did not color it during that time an I didn’t put it up as that seemed to weigh on it an I had worse shedding after a pony or bun. That is just my experience an as I said it’s growing back already

    Successful post op gastric bypass

Many Prayers for a speedy Blessed recovery. I personally have no regrets. I did not have any complications in my recovery. I am only close to 6 months out but I am 125lbs down an feeling better than I have in years. I am thankful for this group, anytime I’ve had fears or questions this support group has been very helpful. Everyone will tell you this but Walk walk walk. A normal gas pain is intense but if you walk you will work it out. Take your favorite protein drink to the hospital and if you are on a Cpap take it as well. Biotene for dry mouth, Carmen or chapstick an your most comfy clothes for the ride home. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. I do anytime. I did have some health isssues an a lot older than you but I came thru just fine as I am sure you will!!! God Bless!!!

Thanks I think it’s time to visit my hair dresser. I have been scared to make any major changes until the weight loss is where I’m comfortable but I don’t want long stringy hair.

Pants Size and Other Bariatric Sites

I really hadn’t thought about this until I saw your post. I have been just going thru my closet an finding old clothes to wear. I decided to check sizes last night to my surprise I have dropped from a 34 to 28!! I have lost 102 lbs so far but I have only really seen the difference in my neck and of course being a woman lost my Boobs!! I agree that we all carry weight differently an will lose in different areas. It also depends on your exercise areas I think as well.

    poop question after surgery

I had the same issue an did not poop for 9 days! I had to take Milk of mag and Dulcolax (per Dr) for two days. It finally happened and I’ve been going daily since. They told me not to worry about it that it was normal due to anesthesia and then pain meds but I had painful pressure. After the first time all was well

    Dry patches on skin

I’m going through the same thing. My Dr had warned me about it happening before hand an now it has hit!! I am constantly using skin healing cream an lotions.
  15. I was in for 2 nights, but mine was due to nausea. I work from home an have been off for one week an I’m taking a second. I agree it’s the fatigue an just instantaneous tiredness thy I’m battling right now. Learning to try everything to get protein an water down has helped.
