The Realize Band only holds 9cc's Do not fill it past 9cc or it can break

My doctor who has used both says the new lapbands have about 50-60% weight loss in 1 year vs 45% weight loss with the realize band in 3 years. Keep your fancy website, I'd rather lose more weight.

The LapBand company offers finnancing on the band, up to 7 years through a company called Care Credit. I suggest going to see an expert on Lap Band complications such as Alan Geiss in Long Island NY to see what can be done.

If you have the LapBand AP only, not the VG or 4cc bands, you will get a small amount of restriction at the time of surgery because they now leave some fluid in the band at the time it's placed. -
i was so hungry I ate 2 buffalo burgers (no bread) 2 days before surgery. A little cheat here or there won't matter but DO NOT CHEAT the day before. You need to have an empty stomach on the day of surgery

i got banded yesterday with the Lap Band AP. When you are in the pre-op area they will give you a drug called versed. It takes about 3-4 minutes to kick in and then you will not remember anything and you'll wake up after the procedure.
