I've done that! I hate throwing out or getting rid of perfectly good clothes so I have bins of clothes of different sizes. I've been going through them every few weeks to see what fits now. Especially since it seems like I'm going through sizes pretty quick. I'll wear a pair of jeans that fit well then wear them again 2 weeks later and they're loose. I did go buy a couple shirts just to celebrate some. I didn't buy jeans because to me they're too expensive to buy something that I probably won't fit in in a month or so. 😂

Weirdest None-Scale-Victory - I'll go first

I got a new NSV...at work they have the temperature scanners where you stand in front of a screen. The screen has the outline of a person to kind of guide you on where you're supposed to be standing. I didn't used to fit in the outline, now I do!!!!!!! -
I think it's weird how different surgeons and practices have so many different way of doing things. For example, I didn't have a "purée" stage per se. I went from full liquids to soft foods. Puréed foods were included in the full liquid stage for me. After this I will go back to any foods. Well, low fat, low cal, low sugar of course.

I did NOT like the cookie and cream one. Also, strawberry taste like soap to me. All the other ones taste fine. I bought one but I can't remember the name, to try, basically it was strawberry milk but with 20 something grams of protein. It was delicious to me.

Not really weird but some I've had.. Being able to sit with my leg folded under me.. Moving a notch down on my watch... -
I've had a few signals. I've burped, then a couple times a runny nose (that ones still weird to me, I don't get how it correlates but it's happened), the most common one is I feel like air bubbles are coming up my windpipe. They don't quite make it to a burp, just tight air bubbles.

Have you tried a different brand of protein shake?
-
Oh I was so sick of liquids by week 4. I'm glad I can now eat soft foods. I'm also grateful that everything I've tried so far has gone down well and stayed down. Just the first day on soft foods everything tasted weird but that's gone away now.
-
Thank you! I'm just trusting the process and doing what I'm supposed to and staying off the scale as much as possible. I have noticed it in my clothes though.

Wow! Mine was 4/8 and as of Saturday all I've lost is 14 pounds. I see all these people losing an exorbitant amount of weight and I'm like how? I was on liquids first 2 weeks and have been on soft foods for 1 week. If I'm able to finish 2oz of food that's a good meal. So far I've been able to handle everything, I've had eggs, tuna, beans, cottage cheese. I know everyone's different and will lose it different but I feel like I'm losing it at an extremely slow pace. I have lost 50 pounds total since I started the program in January so that's something.
-
I had mine 4/8, they made me get off to stretcher and walk to my bed when I got out of recovery. I was like ok. Honestly though I never felt pain from my stomach. Just the gas pains but after walking around some they went away within a day or less.

I heard to many things about hard BMI's so I didn't want to wait that long and I took milk of magnesia by day 3.

I work 12hour shifts, my first day back was yesterday and it killed me. Plus I was only able to get in 2 16.9oz bottle of water in at work so I had to drink like a madwoman (not really, not that fast) on the drive home and once at home. Fortunately I was allowed to replace a meal with a protein shake so it counts as my fluid intake. my surgeon did a minor umbilical hernia repair so if people as why I was gone I tell them that. 😂 I haven't told anyone at work either that I had the sleeve done.

That's a good idea also, ordering from senior menu.

I was thinking about splitting meals with my husband as well. That or just save leftovers for future meals.
