I used it throughout the first stage of Post OP, I feel it is the best out on the market with the amount of sugar or protein. I continue to use it now after a year since my sleeve. I use to like the vanilla but post op I find the vanilla to sweet and now I continue to drink Chocolate.

Has anyone had the gastric sleeve by Dr Duncan within the last year 2015-2016

Am beginning the process for the sleeve surgery. I thought my insurance would not pay but I am finding out that there might be a chance. I have a medical necessity and hopefully my insurance will make the surgery available for me. At every milstone I will post and keep data from beginning to end. I have submitted the paper work as of last week and recived clearance to make an appt with the Phych dept. My appt is Dec 15 2014. The appt person told me I would hear from them if there was a problem with my insurance. It has been three day and I have not heard any thing that would make me think my insurance has denied moving forward with the evaluation. I an excited and nervous at the same time MOVING FORWARD.

I have insurance that will not pay for WLS. Any one out there known of additional insurance to purchase that will cover the WLS. Or is there any supplement insurance HELP.........

Hi I am awaiting my insurance company approval. I haven been struggling with my weight for years and ready for this tool to help me keep it off. It has taken time for me to say yes to this program. I wish u much success on you journey.

Yes I am in the Powell area and I have ben looking in the chicago area becasue of the amount of bands this one DR. has done and a referral from many who had it completed by this DR. But I am hearing I might what to be closer to home for rechecks and any complications that may occur. So I went to OSU and they were pretty much selling the by pass and a short data on band so I was turn off by their message and their deliver of that message. So I am looking a little further into this area before I decide.

I am new to this site and trying to get connected to peolpe who have had the band completed in the columbus ohio area. I have spoken with many people but unsure if I should have it done here or in another state. This DR. that you spoke about is she or he had years during this procdure. :confused2:

I have been reading about lap band and have spoken to many people. I and in the columbus area. I was thinking about going to chicago or calif for the band. If any one out there is familiar with the columbus or Ohio area for the band let me know. I do not want OSU. They are pushing the bypass and I do not want that. HELP. :confused2:
