I have felt “hunger” daily since surgery but if I’m super busy and don’t look at the clock I totally forget to eat so I know it’s entirely in my mind.

That’s why I like to make the cauliflower crust one. I cut the crust when I get home from store into slices while it’s partially thawed and then I can make one slice at a time since I don’t cook for a family Hommemade version sounds yummy but I would waste all but one slice. -

Same as jnfinney I had cauliflower pizza at two months and it was fine but I am not sure about the real crust. Have you had any sort of bread or tortillas yet? -
I woke up from surgery with one and wore it the next day till I got home but then I took it off. It’s just for your comfort though so wear it as long as you feel you need it.

Depression after surgery?

I would call your dr office. I was able to take my Wellbutrin the next day In the hospital. They may normally have you wait without issues but you are having worse depression. Perhaps they will let you take your rx normal. Although it seems like crushed it would be working better not worse. -

Update. I was able to get an appointment with one of the therapist that is relatively close to me. It’s not until end of July though. I called the other one to see if they can get me in sooner. Anyone have any good books or other resources I can read In the meantime? -

I agree with others that it’s probably just fluids. Try to stay off the scale at least until your first post op appointment. Things should balance out by then. -

This thread is really old but some new folks say they are having similar issues so I will reply. The three week stall is so common. It can honestly happen before or after but usually it’s right around three weeks. If you do a search on this site you will see how often it is talked about. Rest assured. The weight loss will pick back up. Just stick to your plan. -

The others have good suggestions but I would add clear protein drink (they aren’t as sweet and can be watered down). Also, I have heard of people that just used ramen seasoning packets and tossed the noodle part. -

My doctor (well actually the nurse practitioner) said to use cocoa butter every day before and after surgery. The real stuff that you get in a bar. I also put collagen peptides in my yogurt smoothies. The dr says there is no evidence to suggest it works or that it doesn’t so I figure it can’t hurt to try.

Have you ever tried mixing a bit of PB Fit in with vanilla Greek yogurt and dipping apples in it. Something else to look forward to trying if you like the apples with peanut butter taste.
