I have lost 47 lbs since preop and was banded on August 8th. I was 267 to start. I have just been following the protein diet to a tee and have had my first fill which I have actually slowed down losing since then ironically. I am getting lots of fluids in daily. At least 64 oz. and eating meat, light cheese in moderation, and eggs. I was just able to add in veggies this week. Every one is different was you will do it!!!! I know how hard it is to be patient though!
