I am on puréed foods and I feel full with just a tad over the 2.0 oz. I am drinking my sips of liquid and my eyes still want everything. Is this normal? It is almost four weeks after surgery.

Mental hungry is serious and it is something I went through until understood it. I read a book called Bariatric Mindset Success by Kristian Lloyd and it help me understand how mental hunger wasn’t just me. But, ask your self “is it pouch worthy?” Now I think it was a good book. Mental hunger? I did not think it was a real thing, until now.

I had my procedure 2weeks and 6 days ago. I am losing but I think it would have been possible to lose more. ??? Or maybe it’s my body. I have had moments where I did want to taste something but I remember the goal. It is strange because in my mind I want everything but I am follow my diet as prescribed. Yet, I am scared I feel the one time I mess up, my stomach might stretch. As I work through my moments I realize what is important to me so I have keep on track with my diet. Some days are more challenging because I am do have five children to cook and prepare food. I do enjoy cooking and just stick my liquids. Has anyone else have this issue ??

I have my procedure is on Wednesday in three days and I am nervous. My birthday is tomorrow and I am so anxious. Many changes along with new ways of thinking.

So exited my procedure is on Wednesday 24th 2021!! Nervous as all get out. A tentative time of 12noon.

Yeah, that is wonderful. How do you feel over all?

I am not sure but it does look like l am going down. Some days things feel like they are moving so slow. And other days I am anxious

Check with the therapist they usually offer self pay on a sliding scale according to your income. And Telehealth (virtual) meetings might be less expensive.
