Thank you for your kind words and understanding! I’m just kinda done dealing with them. I have started a new role within my company and I want to be courteous and let them know a time frame of when this will be happening. It seems like the world revolves around Allina’s time frame. So annoying!

I’m going to pipe in and say that this will be my second time going through Allina. And so far both times have proven to be a nightmare in terms of communication with the care team. I was only speaking of Dr. Svedson as a surgeon. Allina as a whole sucks. I completed my pre surgical requirements mid February and they have yet to submit any of my paperwork into insurance. I have called every day and no one seems to return my calls. Very frustrating. I’m really close to pulling everything and going to another program

The switch will not help you with the GERD unfortunately. I am doing it because of regain. Allina’s program has been excellent. They commonly do revisions. It may be something to look into!

Late response! My boyfriend just had his RNY with Dr. Svendsen on 2/17/21. Met with him after- super nice guy! Very supportive and helps patient's and their loved ones really understand what's going on! Have you had surgery yet?

Hi everyone, New here. Looking for a safe space to ask questions regarding revision. A little back story... I had the VSG in May of 2019. I only lost 60lbs and regained 20 of them. My goal was to lose 150. I'm waiting for a surgery date for the duodenal switch. I guess I am asking for advice and experience from those who had revision from sleeve to DS. How was your weight loss after? Pros and cons? Anything that you struggle with? Thanks in advance, I greatly appreciate it!!!
