  1. Every morning, I put my patches on. They only have to be worn for 8 hours/day... So, I take them off before bed. They are very sticky, and hard to remove if I try to remove them too early... That's the only down side, really... So far, anyway.
  2. I can definitely tell a difference when I wear them and when I don't...I got bariatric-specific vitamin patches & I've been pleased so far. I googled and read about each kind to decide which ones I wanted to use first. Good luck to you in finding some you like!
  3. Wow! You got a really good deal!
  4. Super-excited for you!! Looking forward to hearing your experience, as I plan to get a sort-of mommy-makeover once I lose a sufficient amount of weight. I'm so far only about 36lbs in & would like to lose close to 100...Do you mind: How much weight did you lose before deciding to get the PS?
  5. I have hypothyroidism & had the VSG on 12/7/20. I'm down 36lbs in roughly two months. I had a very hard time losing weight pre-surgery & had gained so much after menopause kicked in. But, I'm so pleased with the results of my VSG...I feel terrific, have SO much energy...I sleep better & I am caffeine free!! It's a wonderful feeling to finally accomplish weight loss after feeling it was a lost cause. So happy now thinking about finally being trim and healthy. I wish you all the best in your decision-making process! Don't give up hope...🤗🙏🏼🎉
  6. I have two insurances and neither covered my VSG. I went the self-pay route & was able to prepay for the majority, then had two little bills come in afterwards, which were not bad. I was glad to go the self-pay route, bc I didn't have to abide by insurance rules: insurance requires many more visits to the nutritionist & therapist, etc... I had a great group of folks taking care of the beginning of my journey & they're available as needed. I wouldn't trade the experience for the world.
  7. I had VSG on Dec 7th 2020. Starting at about 4- 5 weeks, I have twice eaten small, thin crust (gluten-free), mushroom, tomato & spinach (any veggies would work) pizza. I take very small bites, chew very well & put the piece in eating down between bites. I've had absolutely no issues! I can eat 1/2 of one small piece (the pieces are already small bc it's a small pizza...I cut them in half). I tried eating a single piece of pepperoni from my hubby's pizza, but I could feel heartburn creeping up after a minute or twenty... Not doing that again...

    Constricted

I've been having the same issues with food over the past week or so... I'm seven weeks post op (VSG) & probably still a bit conservative with the things I eat. It's good to know I'm not alone in this...
  9. I am seven weeks post sleeve & could not do the soft chew vitamins (stuck) or the chewable ones (dry). I ordered vitamin patches & am so happy with them, I'm certain this will be the way for me, always.
