I had gastric sleeve done 3days before Christmas and I got to go home on Christmas Eve . My surgery was quick but I ended up getting a blood transfusion my blood level kept dropping after surgery I needed 2 bags of blood.To me it was painful but now I'm 6weeks and I lost 45 pounds and I feel good but at first it was hard and I was scared but it's worth it.everybody is different my story won't be yours I have trouble holding any kind of food down even soup I Knw others who can eat anything so good luck,!
