  1. Starwarsandcupcakes, my med bottle says the same. How has you weight loss been since your revision? @maven, have you had your surgery already very? All of our stories are similar in ways!
  2. @rusnj1 I had my bypass on 12/24/20, currently down 23 lbs since surgery. Yes I was feeling the same way, but when I spoke with both my nutritionist and my dietitian they stated that was good weight loss. I mostly definitely get were your coming from especially when some people that I have seen lose 15 lbs a week, it can be discouraging but try to stay positive.
  3. @TreeTrunks I get my labs drawn every 4 months to check my levels, my labs are due in 2 weeks. I will let you know if there is a major change in them.
  4. @TreeTrunksyes, that's why I take my thyroid medicine so early in the morning so by 10-10:30am I can take my next supplement. My doctors told me I can eat anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after levothyroxine, so we take them similar. They recommend 4 hours after thyroid meds so there is no potential for absorption interference, then 1 hour in between next supplement. Do you see an endocrinologist?
  5. @TreeTrunks, I also take levothyroxine what I do is take it first thing in the morning between 5am and 6am. Then you can take your other pills like multi vitamin, omerprozale, and calcium 4 hours after your thyroid meds. I usually have protein between 30 minutes to an hour after taking my thyroid meds. Why do you wait so long to eat after yours?
  6. @Elizabeth Smith, hello I am currently on stage 4 diet mainly all proteins. I advance to full solids in 2 weeks. Wow thats a lot of weight loss in 2 months, why are you malnutrition. Are you getting in your daily protein and water intake?
  7. I am down 21lbs currently, my first month is tomorrow. Yes i feel it has been slow moving for me as well.. My first 2 weeks I have lost 7lbs, then 3 lbs the last 2 weeks. Congrats on hitting 41lb weight loss. @ksgypsy
  8. Yes I was having the same issue with being able to lose weight, weight loss has been slow. I am half way through week 4 and current weight loss is 14lbs. The months leading up to surgery i worked hard to loss 30lbs. I wanted to create this group so I could share my experiences with ppl who have hypothyroidism and see if we are experiencing the same challenges with weight loss after surgery.
