Want to see if anyone else has this problem. After a fill, for about a week, I get what is like the burps...air comes up on its own but it is a long urrrr sound..not a real burp. I can not control it...Does anyone else have this?:help:

Embarassing problem. Each time I get a fill I can not stop the air coming up...it is slow and a bit loud. Does not form a real burp...just a long urrrr sound. Does anyone else have this problem. I work on the phone so it is bad. Thanks! Lisa 235/163/150 Banded 4/2006

Has anyone been able to get insurance to pay for plastic surgery like a tummy tuck or breast lift after you have lost the weight? I have excess skin and it would be great if somehow it was possible to get insurance to help in cost. While on topic, how about any facial procedures like Botox? Heard sometime if it is for migraines insurance will cover. 75 lbs. down and just want to look better and better...sure you do to!

Thanks to you both. I have lost 75 lbs., most of it in the first nine months. Want to lose 10 more. Remember hating those people who said they just wanted to lose 10 lbs. It was a wonderful step and I feel much better about myself and opportunities. You will do fine Laura. Lisa

I was banded in 4/06 and am just now having constipation problems...well i think that is what it is...dull constant ache in stomach and lower right side back pain. i took laxatives and they did not work. anyone else have this problem 230/160/145 lisa

I also had Dr. Jay, 4/06. I think he did a good job on surgery but do not recommend him for fills. His nurse who helped do them left to go to med school and he is not planning on replacing. This means you have to wait 2 hours to get a fill...I have done it twice, actually one was an unfill. So I would not do Dr. Jayseelan for fills or might go with someone else entirely. I feel like he just herds us in for money and does not really care.

Has anyone her gained weight to get to a bmi of 40 for insurance purposes? I need 17 more pounds to be covered. Was wondering if anyone has done this and how long it took. Thanks, Lisa
