I start burping also. And I make myself stop and ask myself if I am really hungry.

I have no limits on how much I can eat, but I get full pretty quick. Like 1/3 a soft boiled egg, 5 small bites of yoghurt. Things just don’t taste that good.

I feel the same way. No problem with the Protein Shakes but the puréed food fills me up. I have hit my first stall so I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill today. I am getting all of my fluids and Protein. I feel great and the only downside is feeling weak. I know that will pass with time.

I think what helped me a lot was working out before I got the surgery. I went every other day and did 45 minutes of weights and 20-30 minutes of cardio. I am hitting the Water hard and adding a little extra Protein Powder to my drinks. It helps me with my energy. I have been sleeping around 10-11 hours a day and getting my walking in. I have no more pain from my incisions and am down 17 lbs. A big part of it is learning to listen to your body. It’s amazing how much you learn about yourself.

Mine went well and I’m doing great. Down 17 lbs total, 7 since the surgery. I hope the rest of you are adapting well also.

Had my surgery last Tuesday and feel pretty good. Trying to learn to juggle the Protein Drinks and Water.

I had my surgery Feb 2 and I am at home already. They wanted me to stay for 2 days but I was doing so well they sent me home. I m not taking my pain pills because I don’t need them. My stomach is pretty sore but I feel pretty good considering. I have already consumed 1 Protein Drink, one cup of herbal tea and 28 ounces of Water. Good luck to everyone who is coming up.

I just took my COVID test in preparation for my surgery tomorrow. I am first on the schedule.

I started my pre-op diet last Friday. I have lost 7 lbs so far, but most of it is probably Water. The Dr. said I would be in the hospital for one or two days, depending on how I do. I bought a couple of sweatshirt material gowns to wear instead of hospital gowns. That will give me something to walk around in. I am scheduled for 7:45 but was told I might get bumped for anyone that needs surgery in an outpatient capacity. I hope that does not happen. It is all a waiting game at this point.

I have been going frequently because I am almost ready to get my date, and I want to be as fit as possible. I hit the weight machines, free weights, and some cardio and find the gym much more motivating than home. I clean before and after using anything and wear a mask. You learn to breathe with it, but I have a N95 that does not sit on my face. I don’t suck it in when I inhale. It really helps.
