I wrap my workout with 15/15, which is 15 minutes at level 15. It is a good way to wrap things up.

I still have it to some degree after 2 years. Had the same issue before surgery. I take Imodium AD and it helps. -
I have been stalled for 2 months. I keep track of everything but can’t figure out why I am stuck. I am still trying to lose that last 50.

Shake recommendations please! (everything is tooooo sweet now)
Pkump replied to GottaLearnToSlowDown's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I also mix my shake/powder up with unsweetened whey. Depending on the flavor I choose I may mix it with decaf coffee, which tempers the sweetness quite a bit. -
HEAVY Weightlifting is a GAME CHANGER Ladies!!! Pics included!
Pkump replied to Kat2013's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I have been focusing on weights also, but have not been doing the free weight lifting that you are, I am still in the process of losing, and weights have really helped keep me from excessive lose skin. It it also helps that I am losing slower. I still do cardio because I need to work on my stamina and it helps my asthma, but weights are my preference. -

GYM AFTER SURGERY? LIFTING WEIGHTS?
Pkump replied to MishaBusa's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I started using weights about six weeks out, but lighter weights. Now at five months out the weights I use have gone up from 10 to 20 lbs, depending on what I am doing. Trying to keep things as firm as possible, and I found working out helps take off the lbs. -
Strange smell and taste
Pkump replied to mocha2871@yahoo.com's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
The same thing happened to me. There were foods I loved that I suddenly could not stand. I am almost 5 months out and my taste for some of these foods is coming back. Just ride it out and see how your body responds. -
I am 62 and almost 4 months into my journey, you better believe I will get my breasts done if I end up with soap-in-a-rope boobs. I have to live with them.

Hi fellow Feb members. I moving right long and doing well. I still have times when, at the end of the day, I find myself hitting a protein drink to get my protein in for the day. I am doing great at exercise and use free weights and weight machines 99% of the time. My back does not hurt as bad And I don’t lose my breath when I walk across the room. Down 49 lbs and counting, so glad I had the surgery no found these blogs which have offered me so much support, device and ideas.

I was released to workout on weights around 6 weeks. I use the machines and free weights. I am three months out now and work out 1 to 1 1/2 hours 4-5 days a week. It really helps me lose weight and reduce stress. I am trying to get everything turned into muscle and it is working out well. I know I will still have some loose skin but my core will be tight.

I am looking forward to getting off this CPAP machine!!
Pkump replied to Tim C's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I love my CPAP. But I have extremely bad apnea, 102.5 episodes an hour. It has been lifesaving for me so I tolerate it. I don’t know if I will ever lose enough to get rid of it. It would be nice traveling without lugging it around. -
Zero Pleasure In Food Post Op
Pkump replied to Soon2bFit21's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am almost 3 months out from my bypass and food tastes even worse now. Very few things taste good to me. It is a struggle. -
Thank you everybody for the comments. I think I am pushing myself to hard and need to pace myself. Next time I will approach it differently, and have my water and protein lose by so I can take periodic rest periods.

I have lost 42 lbs, but still have no stamina. Today I went out to pick up trash with a group and had to quit after 1 1/2 hours. This was after several rest stops. Will this get better with time? I am doing most weights at the gym, will doing more cardio help? Any suggestions on what has worked for you? Thank you.

I didn’t have my significant pain and never took any painkillers after the surgery. I lost worked out quite a bit before my surgery and feel that helped.
-
I lifted but nowhere near the Olympic level. I love it and used it to get in shape before and after my surgery.
