    Ace bandages

Thank you! I will look into the compression sleeves also. The first week was such a blur I don’t even know if I thought it through. He said just ace until drains are out but, just a sleeve should be okay since it won’t affect any drains. I’ll check. Let’s hope some of these 7 drains come out Friday. 🤞🏻

    Ace bandages

Thank you! Those are similar to what I have. Velcro, not clips. These do look like they may have some rubber or something on them which may help with slippage. Thanks for the links!

    Ace bandages

Thank you for the tips! I’ll try some of them out!
  4. Had a brachioplasty, thigh lift, lower body lift with fleur de lis. I’m in ace bandages and abdominal binder until I get drains removed. Ace bandages on arms and thighs. Any tips on keeping the them up? I’m rewrapping constantly and really not getting any compression, which defeats the purpose. Thank you! T.
  5. My surgeon does not provide compression garments. I will wake up with the abdominal binder though and basically arms and thighs wrapped. I would like to buy another binder so that I can wash one. I will also be purchasing compression garments to wear after the drains are removed, etc.
  6. I'm scheduled for a lower body lift with fleur de lis /arms/ thighs next month. Can anyone please send me some pics and/or links to the abdominal binders and compression garments they've used and liked? There are so many choices! Very confusing! Thank you! Tinde

    Too old for plastics?

Hope not! I’m 60 and having my arms, thighs, and LBL Next month!
  8. Thanks for the response Liza. I should rephrase my question. I had RNY surgery last August. I'm now in the process of looking into skin removal surgeons and was wondering in other people's experiences how long it took to get on a schedule with them. I did find a few that I'm interested in consulting with in MD. Just was wondering if anyone had any experiences with any DE surgeons.
  9. Anyone have any recommendations for plastic surgeons in the Delaware area? Also, for those who had surgery, about how long did it take you to get on the schedule for surgery? Thanks! Terri

    Sugar substitute

I use it and like it. I also just discovered monk fruit.
  11. I lost weight prior to surgery so I use my weight on my first surgery appt - which was my highest weight.

    Feeling great, then BAM! Nausea.

That happens to me too sometimes. I pop the meds and it goes away pretty quickly. I’m probably going to have to refill - just to keep on hand just in case. Happens out of nowhere. Not often. Maybe once every few weeks.
  13. I know logically 2 pounds a week is great! And I know that a few “extra” calories a day isn’t going to make me gain back 70 pounds overnight. But some days I’m just not feeling logical. 🤷🏻‍♀️
