I had the band surgery May 2010. I would not recommend it to anyone as after 9 1/2 years massive scar tissue made it almost impossible to remove last October when I was to have the Sleeve surgery. It was so difficult to remove the port that four days later I developed a severe hematoma. Just too many dangers and isn't all that great for weight loss. I did finally get my VSG on 11/30/20. My former Gastric Band surgeon recommended to his patients to drink 3-8oz cups of green tea a day for added fat burning. My VSG surgeon's dietitian says it should be decaf. I just began Phase 4 as I am 29 days out. Sent from my SM-J337V using BariatricPal mobile app

The lower the sugar content the better. Stay away from Added Sugars. This will help shrink the liver to make access to the stomach easier. Sent from my SM-J337V using BariatricPal mobile app
