What speech did YOU listen to?? I thought it was great. What..the democrats can attack her and she has to sit there and take it??? I think you have underestimated her. It was a brilliant speech. She talked about herself and things that she stood for. And she rebutted the insults that Obama and the other dems have thrown at her. Do you think she should have locked her daughter in a closet, or perhaps she should have driven her to the abortion clinic. Or are you one that says she should stay home with her kids?

From what I have read, Palin is not against sex education in schools...just the explicit sex education. You would not believe what they are learning in the classroom about sex these days! I have 3 teenagers and in their sex ed class they learned about things that would make Madonna blush!:crying: Tossing the salad, fisting, and feltching are not topics I want my kids discussing. I agree that we should teach abstinence. Self confidence and education is very important for young women. But also, we should have more choices for birth control for women. My preop appt is Sept 26th. My surgeon requires that you can not take pills again, unless they are crushed..meds must be liquid. So I have been looking for Vitamins and Protein Shakes. One of my coworkers sells Shakelee products and they have liquid vitamins, and their shakes are pretty good. Also, Nectar sent me several free sample packages of protein shakes. I don't think that my approval has set in yet. Seems like it has been a long journey but really only about 4 months.

This can cause you to have periods where you stop breathing when you sleep. You can have several periods in a minute where you break the sleep cycle and come out of REM sleep. I like you Gadgetlady! Yes, I would much rather someone back up their opinions instead of saying "she is not as qualified as Obama". My political views have changed over the years. Very different now than when I was 20. Nobody had a problem during the Democratic convention when Obama's little girls were talking to their father via satellite. They said "where are you Daddy". Bet they haven't seen much of him lately, but you don't hear any negative views about that. We are still a sexist society, and hopefully Palin WILL break through that glass ceiling.

1.) Who's you're insurance company? Humana and Tricare Prime 2.) What state do you live in? Tennessee 3.) Was your plan provided by your employer or do you pay for it out of your own pocket? Employer has an exclusion so Humana does not; Tricare covers 100lbs overweight with comorbidities or 200% overweight 4.) Are you banded yet, waiting for approval, denied...etc? Denied, but in the process of appealing. I have the comorbidities, but was 6.5 lbs under the requirement at weigh-in. Reweighed and was 6.6 lbs over the requirement so should get reversed.
