I got so tired of this battle. I was having an issue with drinking that protein and the unjury taste terrible. Have you tried fairlife shakes they are not thick and they taste good. They make some that are high protein and I have purchased at walmart..you should try they really are good and have high protein. Of course choc flavor is best. These are great for people with regular milk products, never had any issues until after surgery. -
Stop weighting so much...I do it too..its a bad habit to break, I am so worried that I will regain weight.i have lost and stalled and been up and down 1 or 2 pounds, but sure enough the weight is coming off. It has slowed down alot..just a few pounds a month or about 1 pound a week but there have been times I felt the same way..this isnt a race.so pace yourself.

I think you are doing wonderful..I had surgery 11.6.2020 and I have lost about 25..so it sounds like you are right on track. I too often wonder if I'm doing as well as others.. -
Thank you so much...i am so happy you took the time to respond. This story is so familiar. I too thought that I would be very happy at 220..i want to be healthy and happy so I am looking forward to the outcome. I am patient and I am completely happy with the weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week. Slow and steady.

I went on weight watchers at 321 lost to 291 prior to surgery and today was 266. I havent gotten brave enough to take a full body picture..I'm sure I'll get there..sugery 11.6.2020 total lost since beginning weight loss process 55 pounds.

I did gastric sleeve nov 6th and I'm down about 25 as well..my husband had a band removal and gastric by pass last week...I am coming alomg.and I'm not using the shakes either..I found I feel better. I cant wait until my husband and I can share a small meal together again..you guys keep up the good work.
-
How are you doing? Eating..and how much weight loss since surgery?
-
Staple line on your onter stomach. To heal.
-
I agree I'm just at 7 weeks out and my dr advised walking only...he said no other exercise until at least 8 weeks .it takes 6 to 8 weeks for your style line to heal.so go slow and be careful..you didnt get overweight overnight...you have a new chance at life, enjoy it and you can without food. Eat to live not live to eat that's my new motto.
-
Thank you...I wouldnt say that I'm out of the soft food stage completely. I am trying new things most days and just seeing what I can do. I have only lost my cookies 1 time...and that was with grilled chicken finger..I think I ate too fast. I have found that I have been able to eat pizza toppings..no bread or crust. No peanut butter ..and i havent tried fruits really. I can eat cheese, cream cheese, soups, green beans, carrots. Mashed potatoes, grits{ well cooked vegs]..I just go slow and no matter what I'm eating take my time, chew alot..alot..and I always follow the no drink with. 30 minutes before ..or 30 minutes after. But no matter what I eat I only consume about 4 to 5 bites..I eat several small 3 or 4 bite meals daily. And taking B12, iron, biotin, and multivitamin. B12 was a game changer..I did go back to work 5 days after surgery.
