  1. I am 5 weeks out. I was so unprepared for the real journey ahead of me because Everyone wanted to sugar coat the truth. I am learning as I go and I found this group. THANK GOD. I am finding so much you "need" but they all come with a link, or a sales pitch. I do not want to spend thousands of dollars in the must haves. I know it is a journey so I had planned on making a plan and buying and building my kitchen monthly. But Where to start..... I have the obvious... Blender, storage containers, strainers... Never thought about smaller utensils. (Why do you need ice trays I have seen it but I do not get it yet)? So here is the top "Recommendations" Can y'all help please? Blender - (Check), Ice Cube trays (Why), Smaller Dishes, Smaller Utensils, Measuring cups and spoons, Food Scale, Food Journal, Electric Kettle, Meal prep containers (for your kitchen, to keep in your pocket book, condiment containers), Blender cups, personal blender, Vacuumed Sealer, Veg. Slicer, Steam Basket, Portion mate, Meal prep Lunch box. Where do you start and what is the most important ?

    Let’s talk poop strategy

The same here. All my doctor said was it was too common do not worry. This next part is TMI (sorry but honest) I did have to get the intima and suppositories'. It did not work all that well but enough I could get in the bath (yea I know Gross) but when you are hurting and desperate you do desperate things. So long story short when I finally got the hard rocks out and I mean hard! I take a stool softener and Miralax twice a day with my protein shakes. The Miralax only worked on the new digestion and same with the stool softener I had to get the hard rocks out to clear the path. Once that happen and I started taking Miralax it has been so much better. Sorry for the candidness but I found that most people sugar coat it and that was not what I needed I needed help

    Weight lost 5weeks post op

I am with you. I am glad I found this group. I feel so unprepared now that I am 5 weeks in to this. Most people I talk with gloss over the real facts and questions I am asking. I am so lost and my family is trying but they do not know how to help. You are not alone and I look forward to everyone's advice on here. Thank you
