I did use yogurt as well. The drinkable ones are less thick , so they are probably easier to go down, which would be a good choice. good luck to you! -

Well having that stuck feeling really sucks, everyone experiences it though. I know not very fun. My doc has you wait at least a week or two after a fill to see if it is too much. I mean if you are not able to get anything down , he will do an unfill, but if you are able to eat some things, try that for a couple of days, probably more of a mushie diet. I hope it gets better and if not get on that phone and call your doc. good luck -

GAS X strips, they are the best! lol and again, walk, walk, walk. -
definitely! get ready for burping and hiccuping. That is a mainstay in my life now,lol. They do hurt when first banded, but it will get better. Try gas x strips, they will be a lifesaver, and walking will help as well.

I would definitely call your doctor. But remember this is still rerally new, your body is going through shock, and it does take time to get over. Take your time eating, try sticking to lighter, mushie foods, and rest. Good luck to you, it WILL get better. -
I was also the first surgery of the day. I was actually more reassured about that because I figured my surgeon would be more awake and less tired then he would be if I was his 3rd surgery of the day. Relax, enjoy the preperation of your new happier and healthier life. BTW bring a pillow for the ride home, so you can hug it when going over bumps. Good luck, keep us posted.

It's definitely tough to wait for something you want so bad. Use this time though, learn everything you can about the lapband, the good, the bad, the ugly. Find out everything, that way you never worry that you missed something. Good luck and keep us all posted! -

I tried on some pants today that are 3 sizes smaller then what I was wearing , and they fit!!!!!!! I am super excited!!! Great job to everyone out there!

They just asked pre or post op and let me right in. There were a lot of empty seats. Have a good fourth everyone!

Have you tried gas x strips? They were my best friend. Also there are many of us bandsters who have gas pains months after surgery. Just remember keep walking, try the strips and if it continues see your surgeon. good luck to you

Welcome to LBT! Have you tried to drink crystal light, to get more water in. Also can you take any breaks, like instead of cigarette breaks you take a quick water break and go outside? Also as far as sweets have you tried sugar free jello, pudding, popsicles, and fudgeicles(Spelling?). These are just a few ideas. Good luck to you! -
It already passed. I went and had not signed up. It was a very informative meeting but VERY small. I think the next meeting is Monday.
