I believe your sinus infection led to you throwing up. When you have sinus issues you tend to have post nasal drip which can lead up to filling your pouch with that, which could in turn lead to you throwing up. I know thats what happens with me. Otherwise maybe you just have a stomach bug. I hope you feel better!

I cannot tolerate bread at all. I don't even try anymore because I have experienced some horrible stuck moments trying. As far as salad I am good if I chew, chew, chew, if not I am in trouble. Meat is one of those things I have to be really careful with because sometimes I can tolerate and sometimes I can't. I just have to remind myself to take my time and chew. As far as restaurants go , most are very willing to give you a substitute such as veggies. If they want your buisness bad enough they will. Good luck to you!

I know that there are also days for me where I can eat something and the next day I can't. Its like my band plays tricks on me. I think you should talk to your surgeon and see what the problem is, but I don't think it is because you have stretched your pouch. Keep your head up and see your doc. Sending postitive vibes your way!

My scale is playing tricks on me....
Brockbabe82 replied to TCarroll's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have read that your weight can fluctuate up to 8 pounds in one day so that could be part of the problem. Next you could try and change the batteries on the scale , that may be part of the problem, the batteries could be dying. Also you should try and not weigh your self every day like that. I say this yet I am one f those people who weigh themselves twice a day, haha. It gets obsessive for me , so I can relate to that feeling of wanting to see a loss. Anyway, I hope you figure everything out and hopefully it was a 3 pound loss. Good luck! -

Anyone cheat on there pre op diet?
Brockbabe82 replied to neesh's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It is definitely hard for everyone but imperative that you make the right decisions. The point of the pre op diet is to shrink the liver so your surgeon can work around it. If you cheat you could risk having your surgery, so remember nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Rememeber it is a rough road but totally worth it! Good luck:thumbup: -
Good Luck with your surgery Renee!!!!

You have to remember you are in bandster hell. Bandster hell is the time from surgery til your first fill. Some people lose weight during this period, some people don't. Keep watching what your eating , start incorporating exercise, when it is safe Post op, and once you get your first fill you should start losing again. Great job for the 25 pounds already lost! Thats definitely a great beginning!!! Good luck to you.

Hi Renee, Congrats on being approved. I hope you recieve your date very soon! Who is your surgeon Haag, or Fiallo??? They are both great. Hope everything goes well!

Last day of September...but still September!
Brockbabe82 replied to Katlynn's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
thank you! -
The feeling I get is like an intense pressure in the area where the beginning of my stomach begins. It is very uncomfortable. Once you feel it once you will know. The way I describe it to people is if you have ever swallowed soda and it goes down wrong and you feel a pain in your chest and back. Hope that helps.
