My mom always told me I was "Big Boned" when I was a teen, but I knew what I was.................I was fat and very unhealthy! I kept slowly gaining weight through the years and especially gained some pounds after my first child. That's when I decided to change my life! I didn't want to be the "Fat Mama" to my son. I wanted to be the "Healthy Mom", someone that he would be proud of. I wanted to be able to run and play with him and not get out of breath after 2 minutes of playing! So I just decided one day to look into the LapBand and here I am, Banded and losing lots of weight now! I am so happy that I made the decision to get banded! It has changed my life! Yes, there are some very hard times where I just wanna give up, but I know the LapBand will continue to help me through my journey. Everytime I see some pounds shed, it motivates me to do more and more! I'm so thankful for this experience! I weighed 325 lbs at my highest weight and I now weigh 180 lbs as of 7-16-2010!! I have more energy and am able to play with my child alot more! I still have alot more to lose, but I know with my LapBand, these pounds are gonna keep on dropping!! Yes!!
