i was banded on june 9th and have lost only 13 lbs. and gained back 4. i just got my second fill yesterday and cant stick with liquids because i am so hungry i feel sick. i feel like a failure everyone is constantly asking how much i lost and telling me success stories of their friends. my boyfriend is thin and eats whatever and whenever he wants and i am depressed and miserable to the point that it is controlling everything. i have no energy and just feel like i am on another horrible diet. have been trying to make the best choices and stay on track and exercise but i am frustrated beyond belief!

Listen, this is what i did. i called my dr. and said i may kill someone in my family or a stranger if i dont eat. i am f*&^ing hungry!!!!! they told me to begin my next stage early and that was the end of it. same thing with my adjustment. i cannot not eat food for 7 days and be hungry to the point of vomiting only to gain back the weight after i put whole food in my mouth. dont listen to me or anyone else on here call your doctor and discuss it that is what we or our insurance companies are paying thousands of dollars for and that is what i do. i have heard of dr.'s that make their patients eat before they return home after a fill so everyone is different. good luck i am starving right along with ya.......... I was scheduled to see my surgeon for my 1st fill on Nov 3 but because I am working that day I had to r/s to Nov 10th :frown: I have the Realize lap band and I wonder if I should ask him to give me good amount of saline with my first fill. Does anyone have any advice for me?? HELP!!!

i actually tried that after i was sticking to only healthy choices and it not working. that didnt work either. that is why i am so frustrated. i met a lady who told me she ate mnms and popcorn and lost 60 lbs . meanwhile i am starving. i though it would make me want to eat less and be more able to choose more options for food but not so far.

although i c you have gotten alot of feedback i swear i thought i was reading something coming from me! with the exception of working out 7 days a week i have lost alot less than you and am very depressed and feel exactly the way u do about other people and not wanting to go on here it made me feel worse at the beginning. i have had 2 fills and everyone there both times has lost more weight than me what am i supposed to think?:wink2:

thats interesting to know! i am just doing mushies for the most part but am nausous? gonna wait atleast 3 days till i eat meat. am still hungry 2

I am in the same boat trust me. I am severly depressed had my surgery in jume and lost 13 but gained 4. just had my second fill and starving. i feel like a failure and that people are watching and critisizing everything i put in my mouth because others have lost so much more than me.:wink2:

ok people for the love of god can someone please help. i had my surgery june 9th and the allowed me to start whole foods today early was supposed to wait till fri. and am still so hungry and have been since the day of operation. i am frustrated and confused and eating all the right stuff and my water. anyone else go through this?:cursing:
