  1. Hello All, Please look at the flyers attached. Frederica is looking for people who are dealing with excess skin from weight loss, specifically women. She intends to gather feedback and information on the experiences women deal with. The goal is the develop well suited undergarments intended to address the needs and wants of women who live with excess skin .If you are interested, feel free to reach out. I am 8 months post op from a gastric sleeve. So far, I am 77lbs down. I have noticed loose skin around my thighs and arms. The skin around my chest is also starting to look saggy. Even though the flyer says 100+ weight loss, any female experiencing noticeable loose skin can reach out. Thank you!

    Belly wrap

Hey y’all, I was just curious if belly wraps were okay. I am about a week post op and I feel like every time I get up or walk my stomach is going to fall out my bellybutton. I had a sleeve and I still feel a lot of abdominal discomfort. I can’t lay on my side. I have to sleep on my back. How long did y’all have have abdominal pain? And did the belly wrap help? I search it up on google and it said the pain may be caused by leakage from the stomach, I just scared myself. So did anyone else have the same experience?

    Nervous and unsure

Hi, for the first few days it’s impossible to hold anything other than a few ounces of clear liquid. I am only a week out and I struggle with getting in 64 oz of fluid. I drink only 8oz of broth and maybe another 8oz of black lemon tea. I only can hold 12oz Max of water. But reading what other people wrote, I believe you will be able to eat actual food after a few months. My surgeon and nutritionist always reminded me that it is possible to gain all the weight back if I don’t adhere to the new diet plan. But that will take some time to even be physically comfortable eating solid foods. You will have to count protein to make sure your getting the right amount daily and you will probably have to take multi vitamins for the rest of your life (that’s what my surgeon told me). You really have to be 100% committed because with the sleeve you will have to make permanent alterations.
