I am 2 months out and almost 30 lbs down. It is really slow but really steady and it is alot of you working with your band. You control your weightloss. Happy bandaversary to you too Gina, glad to hear from all of you, I am glad to hear all is well with everyone. Nice to have a place to go where there are people on the same track as you. Still feeling great and I have lost 8lbs so far. yay! Good luck to everyone and thanks for the replies

I am not sure who that doctor is. Dr Swartz did my band. He is from Dr Felix's office.

Well I feel really good. A little sore at the port site but not bad. I was banded on Thursday and back to work Monday. Everything seems fine. How do you feel? Are you doing good?

Hi I had surgery on June 12th and sounds like I am at the same stage. I don't know if this will help but my doctor said to maybe take it easy on dairy for awhile. Sounds like you are eating a lot of creamy soups. Maybe try water based soups. Sorry you feel bad hope that helps -

Hi this is my first day on the site and I was suprised to see anyone from my area. I am from Sonora area. I also have to go to Fresno for my fills. I was just banded on June 12th and do not have to go for my first fill for a month. I would love to chat with people in my area since, you are right, so many gastric and so few banders.:smile2:
