Hello Everyone well I was banded Nov 6 08 and it has not been a success :eek: my journey with the lapband is over , my dr has decided to remove and do gastric bypass , I will have this done monday, I am so disappointed that it didnt work on me but I knew the chance of that I am very happy that many of you have done so well :thumbdown:!

Hello Notorious Novembers Well it is almost a yr and I have lost only 30 lbs :frown: i just went in last week to correct my lapband , it had somehow twisted and my port was facing my back instead of forward, I had been throwing up everything I ate, I had 10 cc and now I am at 5cc so which means I can eat pretty much anything. If the lapband dosent continue to work we are going to go through the bypass route, we will see what happens . I want to say congrats to all of ya ladies that have lost weight! :eek:

Hello Everyone I am so glad alot of you are doing so good :party: yay on all the weightloss!! I got a fill 2 weeks ago and it is up to 11cc in my 14cc band, I think they hit the sweet spot :thumbup: ! I am down 30 lbs , my goal for 4th of July is to be 199!! I havent seen that number in a long time! We went camping this weekend and guess what I did?! I hiked up a mountain without puffing !! I am so excited :tt2: I am going to try to be more active on here !! Also I have lost some weight but I wear the same size is that weird??

Hi All Congrats on all the weightloss ! I have just gone in for my 2nd fill and found out I have a 14 cc band , does anyone else have a 14 one? I feel more restriction with this 2nd fill he filled it up to 8cc , hopefully I lose some lbs before the next appt !

I havent been on here in Forever bcz I was really frustrated , I still have NOT gotten a fill ! I have another appt this thursday and informing my doc that I my hunger is increasing ! Am I the only one that hasnt gotten a fill yet?? I am so jealous of everyone losing so much weight :biggrin: oh well i will slowly get there! I am still happy with my band though !

Dont feel discouraged ! I got banded in November and I have lost the same amount you have , no fills yet. You are doing great in the amount of weight you hav lost so far

I am getting a tummy tuck and a boob job, I have always been fat and NO BOOBS how is that possible!

Omg all of ya guys are on your 2nd fill! I am barley going to get my first and I cant wait ! I am always hungry but I havent ate nothing that I shouldnt eat , which is more will power then I had before! I am glad all my novembers are doing good!

Hi All , I dont get my first fill until Jan 15, I havent lost a lot of weight at all :wink_smile: I have been really sick for the past week with the flu with all the coughing my stomach has been cramping , I dont really know if to much coughing will make my band slip. Also I had stopped feeling my band but I can feel it again and when i pass my hand through my side i can feel the port , is that normal?
